His Excellency Nicholas David Low, High Commissioner of United Kingdom to the Republic of Maldives, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Minister of Islamic Affairs, at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
During the discussions, Minister of Islamic Affairs congratulated the newly appointed High Commissioner and expressed appreciation for his visit. The Minister provided a brief overview of the Ministry’s work and responsibilities while acknowledging the strong and enduring relations between United Kingdom and the Maldives. He further conveyed gratitude to the Government and the people of United Kingdom for their continued support and cooperation.
The High Commissioner thanked the Minister for the warm welcome and the opportunity to engage in discussions on areas of mutual interest.
