His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid Al-Nabawi) in Madinah, met with the Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, this morning at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs as part of his official visit to the country.
During the meeting, Minister Shaheem warmly welcomed Sheikh Dr. Al-Budair and expressed his sincere appreciation for accepting the Ministry’s invitation to visit the Maldives. As part of the visit, Sheikh Dr. Al-Budair also signed the Ministry’s guest book, commemorating the occasion.
Earlier in the day, the Imam also paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of Maldives. His visit to the Maldives is being conducted under the guidance and direction of President Muizzu, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation’s Islamic identity by fostering connections with renowned scholars from the Islamic world.
