His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Salah Al-Budair, Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah (Masjid al-Nabawi), led the Maghrib and Isha prayers at the Salman Mosque, marking his first participation in congregational prayers during his current visit to the Maldives. A large number of worshippers gathered to pray behind the esteemed Imam, reflecting the strong public interest in his visit.
As part of his ongoing engagements, Dr. Al-Budair is scheduled to lead the Isha prayer tomorrow night at the Islamic Center in Malé. Following the prayer, he will deliver a special lecture open to the public.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Budair’s visit comes in response to an invitation extended by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, under the direction of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. This initiative aims to strengthen the Islamic identity of the Maldives by inviting renowned Islamic scholars to engage with the local community.
