In a remarkable display of talent, Sulaim Mohamed Latheef claimed first place in the newly established Noor-ul-Azaan competition, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. The final round of this prestigious competition took place last night, where six participants competed in delivering the Adhan and Iqamah in the Hijaz melody.
Latheef’s outstanding performance earned him the top honor, along with a trophy, a commemorative certificate, and an array of prizes, including a 75-inch television, a stay at Dhigufaru Island Resort, and a special prize from STO. The prizes were awarded by Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, the Minister of Islamic Affairs.
Hamza bin Hassan secured second place, while Mohamed Hanoon Hussain claimed third. The fourth-place winner was Haneez Haneef, followed by Ismail Ifrah Ibrahim Ali in fifth place, and Matiu Ahmed Nazim in sixth. Each participant was also honored with trophies, certificates, and special prizes for their efforts.
