Ministry of Islamic Affairs (MoIA) is the executive government authority in Republic of Maldives, managing the nation’s all religious affairs. The headquarters of MoIA is at Islamic Centre, formally known as the Masjid Sultan Mohamed Thakurufanul Auzam, located at the capital, Male’ City. Upon the ministry’s establishment, until today 4 Minister of Islamic Affairs have been appointed by the President to fulfil the mandate assigned to the ministry.
