Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance Donates 10 Tons of Dates to the Maldives
In a significant show of goodwill, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance of Saudi Arabia has donated 10 tons of dates to the Maldives. The donation was formally received yesterday in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in the Maldives.
Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, graciously accepted the generous donation on behalf of the Ministry. The event was attended by senior officials from the Saudi Arabian Embassy in the Maldives, reflecting the strong ties between the two nations.
Expressing gratitude for the donation, Minister Dr. Shaheem thanked the Saudi Arabian Ministry for their continued support and the thoughtful gesture. The donation of 10 tons of dates, a symbol of friendship, will contribute to various community and humanitarian efforts across the Maldives.

Minister Shaheem also extended his thanks to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, and the Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Mutrek bin Abdullah Al-Ajaleen, for their continued support and commitment to enhancing relations between the two countries.
